how to order

our ordering system reflects the fact that we design and assemble small editions. here are some guidelines and what to expect:

  • see here for release dates, remaining stock, and updated information.
  • please read all ordering information thoroughly. this will prevent any surprises, especially to international purchasers who should expect to pay taxes and tariffs when their package arrives.
  • requests are addressed in the order that they are received and are dependent on availability. shipping times vary according to our assembly schedule. we will post these updates on our site.
  • we use google checkout for all transactions. you do not need to have an account with google in advance but you do need to have a credit card ready. the transaction is very standard and secure. all major credit cards are accepted. if you have concerns with the transaction or do not have a credit card, we suggest that you that get it worked out in advance as we will not hold a device without full and complete payment.
  • your order is reserved only when full, and complete payment has been processed. please note: payment can be declined by google checkout and/or your credit card company. email receipts and confirmations from google checkout will let you now if your card was or was not charged—read all email correspondence in its entirety. declined payments occur when an order is flagged as fraud. this can happen when the shipping address does not match your billing address. making sure the two are one in the same will save you a headache. also, it can’t hurt to call your credit card company in advance to let them know that you’ll be making the purchase (this is especially helpful to international customers as banks are often suspicious of expensive purchases of american goods over the internet.)
  • sorry, no paypal or bank transfers.
  • if you want a device which has sold out, let us know as we schedule additional editions according to demand. used devices are also trafficked on our forum.
