while it’s been our inclination not to exploit the prominence of many of our users and supporters, it’d be a shame not to feature this interview. daedelus (we know him more as alfred) and i met long before either of our ambitions materialized—and now our independent successes are in many ways intertwined. he is undoubtedly one of the most virtuosic performers of our devices and we are very proud of him.

this friday august 1st we will be sending out invoices to those who are within the first 100 positions on the request list for the two fifty six. invoices will expire at noon on august 3rd where after we will cancel the order and invoice the next person in line. all invoices sent after the 3rd of august will expire within 48 hours. if you have a problem and cannot complete the transaction within this time frame, please contact us before thursday july 31st with your situation.
we are no longer adding people to the request list. please don’t ask us for an exception. in the event that we finish the list and still have devices remaining, we will announce open orders with further instructions.
we expect to start shipping devices immediately, though it will take us up to three weeks to finish assembling and shipping every order. we ship in the order that payments are received.

this week we’re receiving the last components for our new edition of 40 kits. we’ll be sending invoices out as fast as we can—if you’re on the waiting list, watch your inbox. you have 48 hours to respond. if you miss this window your order opportunity will be passed to someone else waiting in line.
also, we have about 10 one twenty eights that will soon be ready to ship as the last of the top-plates from the recent edition are expected to arrive any day now. we’ll be sending out invoices to that list as well.
a reminder for those on the two fifty six waiting list, 100 invoices will be sent out on August 1st. there will be a 48 hour payment window. we’ll move through the list as fast as we can until all devices from the release are spoken for.

we’ve worked out the scheduling with our manufacturers and are happy to bring you two new editions:
as stated earlier, we’re no longer taking order requests. the request system is closed. once we work through the request list we will resume our previous system of open payment links. please do not e-mail us asking to order a device. we’ll post order details in the future when we’re ready.

we are no longer taking order reservations. we will honor all previously placed requests and they will be processed as new editions come out. once we have gone through our current waiting list we will return to our previous order system. new editions will be offered once again at a very specific date and time, with the payment link remaining available the edition is sold out.

next week we’ll start sending out invoices for a limited number of kits. we’re not yet fully stocked, but keep an eye on your inbox if you’re early on the request list.

we just sent 100 e-mail invoices to those first people on the 128 request list. orders not paid by monday june 2, 12pm EST will be dropped. we will then send invoices to the next people waiting on the list until we’ve sold the entire edition.
update: we’ve sent out the second batch of invoices. these expire wednesday at 12pm EST. if we have remaining units, we’ll ship out more invoices at this time.
