AN ALIEN TECHNOLOGY: 12 samplers, sample-accurate sequencing, with effects that include stereo delay, vst-loading, and vocoders, 2 resident synths which feed the vocoders: one subtractive-noise synth called 'Noisul8or', another 8-bit emulation synth called 'AteByte', and a Cellular Automata sequencer used to sequence the effects presets.

prefix: app will take care of this automatically, choose your monome size from the tabbed selector at the bottom of the app's onscreenUI(512, 256, or 128) and the prefix will be changed accordingly. if you use anything but a 512, it will perform paging of the original 512 interface: if you use a 256, you page between the two left and right halves of the 512 interface using the spacebar; if you use a 128, you page between the two left and right halves of the 512 interface using the spacebar AND you page between the top and right half(of a 256 half of a 512) using the 'A' and 'Z' keys on your keyboard('A' = top half; 'Z' = bottom half).
long description of program? oh hell no! read the manual it's long enough(very important to learn what's in the manual, this is not a simple app, requires a bit of learning and familiarity). one thing(aside from the 'paging' keys mentioned above) not mentioned in the manual: you can set your soundcard/driver by choosing 'DSP' under the 'DSP' menu. The app is not for everyone, I find it easy only because I built it. But if you find it too complex, feel free to ask questions on the discussion thread here:
