setup
1. install the ftdi virtual com port (vcp) driver

2. download monomeserial
monomeserial is an osc and midi router. it’s needed to interface with our other applications and to make your monome device accessible via midi to other types of software.
3. optional installations you’ll probably want
most of our applications are written in max/msp and chuck which are media programming environments/languages. you don’t need to know how to program in order to use our applications.
download max/msp (get the newest, full version)you do not need to purchase max/msp. the full version contains the free runtime. if you’re on xp you’ll also need quicktime.
download miniaudicle (a graphical front-end for chuck)now you can run a greater majority of our applications with ease.
